Last day, Sunday. Watching Dave as he reloads his boatload of fun...

As always, it was a great week of fun and rockhound friendship with old friends and new. I want to give special thanks to Randy for creating the spreadsheets that helped me keep track of everything. Kay, for cooking all the great food every night to feed everyone, Carol for keeping things clean and organized at the camp, Johnnie for allowing the members to use his saw all week, Manny, for letting the members use his cabbing machines. Dave and Randy for signing people in for me when I wasn't there. And thanks to all the members that showed the new rockhounds where to dig, how to dig, helped the new guys with pricing their minerals, thanks to all the people that helped keep the building clean and helped clean up at the end of the roundup. Thanks to everyone that helped out, it is all of you that makes this event possible.

This roundup is dedicated to the memory of our friend Rob Stine. Rob passed away this past week. I had sent him a message asking him when he was coming to the roundup and its turns out, he died the same day I had sent the message. Rob was a great guy and a great friend. He was a talented artist and was always happy to sell or even give away much of his artwork, and I am proud to own several of his original pieces. He always had a smile for everyone and was just a great human being. He will be missed by his family and friends and the members of MAGMA. Rest In Peace Rob...
